Status, not a mock-up
Live shopping and auctions
These two sales formats are not enabled in this build. There is no streaming provider connected and no bid settlement engine running, so Botanisia does not show live rooms, countdowns or bid buttons that would not work.
What exists today
- Listings carry a live-sale/auction flag and an auction end timestamp.
- Moderation reports support live rooms as a target type.
- Seller plans, listing limits and compliance checks already apply to every listing, including future auction listings.
- The domain model and audit trail are ready for a streaming adapter and a bid ledger.
What is deliberately missing
- Live video rooms, chat, product pinning and moderation controls.
- HLS replay and low-bandwidth fallback.
- Bid increments, reserve prices, anti-sniping rules and winning-bid checkout.
- Streaming provider keys and EU media-region configuration.
How it will be enabled
Live video will use a managed provider behind a StreamingProvider adapter: browser publishing, HLS playback, recordings and EU data residency. Auctions require a durable bid ledger, anti-sniping extension rules, notification delivery and a winning-bid checkout path that reuses the existing order and payment flow. Until those pieces are implemented and tested, this page remains the honest status.
In the meantime you can browse fixed-price listings, read the plant trade rules, or review the marketplace terms.
